Cooling Module (G2136144): Installation

  1. CAUTION: This step must be carried out with the assistance of another technician.

    Install the coolant module.

  2. CAUTION: Make sure that the cooling module is supported for this step.

    Install the right coolant module bracket.

    Torque  : 9 Nm 

  3. CAUTION: Make sure that the cooling module is supported for this step.

    Install the left coolant module bracket.

    Torque  : 9 Nm 

  4. Connect the Air Conditioning (AC) pipes

    Torque  : 20 Nm 

  5. Connect the charge air cooler radiator upper hose.
  6. Connect the upper coolant hose.
  7. Connect and secure the auxiliary coolant pump.

    Torque  : 9 Nm 

  8. Connect the auxiliary coolant pump electrical connector.

    • Install the left side coolant hose.
    • Connect and secure the right side coolant hose.

    Secure the coolant hoses.

    Torque  : 9 Nm 

  11. Install the thermostat.

    Refer to: THERMOSTAT 

  12. Connect the electrical connectors.
  13. Connect the upper coolant hose.
  14. Install the radiator support brackets

    Torque  : 9 Nm 

  15. Install the air ducts.
  16. Install the front bumper.

    Refer to: FRONT BUMPER - VEHICLES WITH: CORE SPECIFICATION

  17. Connect the startup battery ground cable.

    Refer to: STARTUP BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT

  18. Fill the coolant system.

    Refer to: COOLING SYSTEM PARTIAL DRAINING AND VACUUM FILLING (G2133654) 

  19. Recharge the AC system.

    Refer to: AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM RECOVERY, EVACUATION AND CHARGING
