Low Pressure Fuel Pump Assembly (G2767463): Installation

  1. CAUTION: Make sure that the seal is correctly positioned. Failure to follow this instruction may result in damage to the vehicle.

    Install a new O-ring seal to the fuel pump and sender unit.

    Renew Part: Fuel pump O-ring seal  Quantity: 1  .

    • Install the fuel pump and sender unit into the fuel tank.
    • Install the in tank pipe onto the fuel pump and sender unit.
  3. Connect the lower electrical connector for the fuel pump and sender unit.
  4. Using the special tool install the fuel pump and sender unit retaining ring.

    Special Tool(s): 310-123 

  5. Install the 2 fuel pump and sender unit fuel pipes.
  6. Connect the 2 fuel pump and sender unit electrical connectors.
  7. Install the fuel tank cover.
  8. Connect the 12 V system.

    Refer to: STARTUP BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT

  9. Refill the fuel tank.
