Fuel Supply Line (G2131302): Removal

CAUTION:
Before disconnecting any components, make sure the area is clean and free from foreign material. When disconnected all openings must be sealed.
NOTE:

The following step(s) applies to:
All vehicles
- Before working on the fuel system make sure to study the fuel system health and safety article of this repair information.
- Carry out the fuel system pressure release procedure.

- Remove the engine cover.

- Disconnect the startup battery ground cable.
Refer to: STARTUP BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT
- Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.

- Remove the front left fender splash shield.
Refer to: FENDER SPLASH SHIELD
- Remove the cowl panel.

Remove the brace bar.

CAUTION: Be prepared to collect escaping fuel.
- Disconnect and remove the fuel return line.
- Release the wiring harness from the retaining clip.

CAUTION: Be prepared to collect escaping fuel.
Disconnect the fuel lines.
Release the fuel lines from the retaining clips.
Release the brake pad wear indicator sensor wiring harness and position away from the fuel lines.
- Disconnect the fuel lines.
- Remove the fuel lines from the vehicle.
