Auxiliary Fuel Pump (G2134420): Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
    • Install the fuel pump and connect the inlet hose.
    • Connect the fuel pump to fuel filter hose and install a new hose clamp.

      Renew Part: Hose clamp  Quantity: 1  .

  2. Install the fuel pump cover and tighten the 3 retaining nuts to the correct torque.

    Torque  : 10 Nm 

    • Connect the 2 electrical connectors and install the fuel filter assembly.
    • Tighten the 4 retaining bolts to the correct torque.

      Torque  : 10 Nm 

  4. Connect the fuel return lines.
  5. Connect the fuel lines.
  6. Connect the startup battery ground cable.

    Refer to: STARTUP BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT

  7. Bleed the fuel system.

    Refer to: LOW-PRESSURE FUEL SYSTEM BLEEDING

  8. Install the engine cover.

    Refer to: ENGINE COVER - INGENIUM I4 2.0L DIESEL
