Right Exhaust Gas RECIRCULATION Valve (G2132697): Removal

NOTE:

- Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.
Refer to: LIFTING
- Disconnect the startup battery ground cable.
Refer to: STARTUP BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT
- Remove the air deflector.
Refer to the appropriate repair information
- Drain the cooling system.
Refer to: COOLING SYSTEM PARTIAL DRAINING AND VACUUM FILLING
- Remove the right air cleaner.
Refer to: RIGHT AIR CLEANER
- Remove the right secondary bulkhead panel.
Disconnect and reposition the engine wiring harness.
Disconnect and reposition the coolant hoses.

WARNING: Be prepared to collect escaping coolant.
Disconnect the upper coolant hose.

NOTE:
- Discard the tube clamp.
- Discard the gasket.
Remove the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) valve outlet tube.
Disconnect and reposition the vacuum tube.
Disconnect the actuator vacuum tube and electrical connector.
Remove the heat shield.

NOTE: Discard the gasket.
Disconnect the EGR valve inlet tube.

WARNING: Be prepared to collect escaping coolant.
Disconnect the front coolant hose.
Remove the EGR valve.

NOTE: Discard the gasket.
Remove the EGR valve inlet tube.
