Left Exhaust Gas RECIRCULATION Valve (G1899449): Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Install the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) valve.

    Torque  : 10 Nm 

  2. Connect the EGR valve outlet tube.
  3. Connect the lower coolant hose.
  4. Install the breather.

    Torque  : 10 Nm 

  5. NOTE: Install a new tube clamp.

    Connect the EGR valve inlet tube.

    Renew Part: EGR valve inlet tube clamp Quantity: 1  .

    Torque  : 5.5 Nm 

  6. Connect the wiring harness.
  7. Connect the upper coolant hose.
  8. Install the air deflector.

    Refer to the appropriate repair information

  9. Install the left air cleaner.

    Refer to: LEFT AIR CLEANER

  10. Install the left secondary bulkhead panel.

    Refer to: SECONDARY BULKHEAD LEFT PANEL - TDV6 3.0L DIESEL

  11. Connect the startup battery ground cable.

    Refer to: STARTUP BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT

  12. Fill the cooling system.

    Refer to: COOLING SYSTEM PARTIAL DRAINING AND VACUUM FILLING
