Electric Cooling Fan And Shroud (G2134845): Removal

Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.
Refer to: LIFTING
Disconnect the startup battery ground cable.
Refer to: STARTUP BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT

- Release the coolant return hose from the retaining clip.
- Remove the air intake pipe.

Remove the front bumper upper finisher panel.

Remove the cooling fan and motor shroud upper finisher cover.

Remove the radiator support bracket.
Remove the auxiliary coolant pump.
Refer to: COOLANT PUMP - CHARGE AIR COOLER
CAUTION: Be prepared to collect escaping coolant.

Release the 2 upper coolant hoses from the right side of the radiator assembly.
CAUTION: Be prepared to collect escaping coolant.

Release the upper coolant hose from the left side of the radiator.

Disconnect the cooling fan electrical connector.

Release the 5 coolant hoses from the cooling fan and motor shroud assembly.
CAUTION: Be prepared to collect escaping coolant.

Release the 2 lower coolant hoses from the bottom of the radiator assembly.

Remove the cooling fan and motor shroud from the radiator assembly.
