Coolant Pump (G1791801): Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
    • Install the coolant pump.
    • Install the 6 bolts and tighten to the correct torque.

      Torque  : 12 Nm 

  2. Connect the 2 electrical connectors for the coolant pump assembly.
  3. Install the coolant pump pulley and secure in place with the 3 bolts. Only tighten the bolts finger tight at this stage.
  4. Install the front end accessory drive belt.
  5. Remove the suitable tool from the front end accessory drive belt tensioner.

    Make sure that the accessory drive belt is correctly located on each pulley.

  7. Fully tighten 3 coolant pump pulley bolts.

    Torque  : 25 Nm 

  8. Install the air intake resonator.

    Refer to: INTAKE AIR RESONATOR

  9. fill the coolant system.

    Refer to: COOLING SYSTEM DRAINING AND VACUUM FILLING 

  10. Connect the startup battery ground cable.

    Refer to: STARTUP BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT
