Post Selective Catalyst Reduction Soot Sensor (G2270367): Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. CAUTION:
    • Make sure that the mating faces are clean and free of foreign material.
    • Make sure the anti-seize compound does not contact the post Selective Catalyst Reduction (SCR) soot sensor tip.
    • If accidentally dropped or knocked install a new post SCR soot sensor.
    NOTE: If the original post SCR sensor is to be installed, apply lubricant meeting specification ESE-M12A4-A to the thread of the sensor.

    Install the post SCR soot sensor to the exhaust system.

    Special Tool(s): JLR-303-1666 

    Torque  : 48 Nm 

  2. CAUTION: Make sure the post SCR soot sensor wiring harness is not twisted more than 180° and is not in contact with the exhaust.
    • Install the post SCR soot sensor module.
    • Secure the 3 clips.
    • Connect the electrical connector.
    • Secure the wiring harness to the 2 clips.
    • Install the right side undershield.
    • Install and tighten the 7 nuts.

      Torque  : 7 Nm 

    • Install and tighten the 7 bolts.

      Torque  : 7 Nm 

    • Install the 5 screws.
  5. Connect the startup battery ground cable.
