Roof Opening Panel Guide Rails (G2299454): Removal

NOTE:

- Remove the roof opening panel.

- Remove the roof opening panel air deflector.
Refer to: ROOF OPENING PANEL AIR DEFLECTOR
Operate the roof panel rearward until a gap of 100 mm is achieved as illustrated.
- Disconnect the startup battery ground cable.
Refer to: STARTUP BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT
- Remove the roof opening panel motor.
Refer to: ROOF OPENING PANEL MOTOR

NOTE: Note the orientation of the component prior to removal.
To aid installation, use a suitable pencil to mark the roof opening panel frame as illustrated.
Remove the 9 roof opening panel guide rail bolts.

CAUTION:
- Make sure to protect surrounding trim components from roof blind motor cable debris. Failure to follow this instruction could cause damage to the vehicle.
- Gloves must be worn when handling the roof blind motor cables.
NOTE: The roof opening panel guide rail should be removed forward to release the roof panel motor cables.Carefully remove the roof opening panel guide rail.
