Instrument Panel Console (G2018927): Removal

Disconnect the startup battery ground cable.
Refer to: STARTUP BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT
NOTE: Repeat the procedure for the other side.

Remove both 'A' pillar trim panels.

Refer to: A-PILLAR TRIM PANEL
Remove the floor console.
Refer to: FLOOR CONSOLE
Remove the instrument panel lower trim panel.
Refer to: INSTRUMENT PANEL LOWER TRIM PANEL
Remove the clockspring.
Refer to: CLOCKSPRING
Remove the glovebox.
Refer to: GLOVEBOX

Remove the in-vehicle temperature sensor.

Remove the passenger side face level vent.

- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Remove the center face level vent.

Remove the instrument cluster upper cover.

- Disconnect the electrical connectors.
- Remove the instrument cluster.

Remove the instrument panel center speaker grille.

Remove the instrument panel center speaker.
CAUTION: Take extra care not to damage the wiring harnesses.

Remove the instrument panel upper bolts.

Disconnect the 2 electrical connectors from the bluetooth antennas.

- Disconnect the 2 electrical connectors from the USB module.
- Release the instrument panel harness from the 5 clips.

- Disconnect the passenger airbag harness connections.
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the ioniser assembly.

Remove the instrument panel bolts at center side.
