Pinpoint Test A: Preliminary Road Test

  1. A1: GEAR SHIFT QUALITY ASSESSMENT 

    A road test should be performed by a suitably qualified and experienced technician in accordance with: Jaguar Land Rover - Service Experience Framework (SEF) - 4.4 Road Test Check Sheet. The customer should be present and ideally should drive the vehicle.

    1. Perform a road test and assess the quality of the gear shifts - Check all gears, upshifts and downshifts

      Are the gear shifts normal?

      • Yes: Return the vehicle to the customer. If necessary, arrange for the customer to drive another vehicle equipped with the ZF9 transmission to experience typical gear shift quality. If the customer is still not satisfied, contact Dealer Technical Support
      • No: GO to PINPOINT TEST B .
