Removal And Installation: Removal

WARNING: Observe due care when working near a hot exhaust system.
NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
  1. WARNING: Make sure to support the vehicle with axle stands.

    Raise and support the vehicle.

  2. Refer to: REAR MUFFLER

    Torque Specifications: 

    M6 10 Nm 

    M10 60 Nm

  6. NOTE: Cut the RH exhaust pipe at the location marked on the pipe.

    Special Tool(s): 100-051 

  7. CAUTION: Using a suitable transmission stand support the exhaust system.

  8. NOTE: Install a new gasket.

    Torque Specification: 28 Nm 

  9. NOTE: This step requires the aid of another technician.

  10. NOTE: Do not disassemble further if the component is removed for access only.

    Torque Specifications: 

    Temperature sensor 35 Nm 

    Heated Oxygen sensor 48 Nm
