Removal And Installation: Removal

  1. WARNING: Make sure to support the vehicle with axle stands.

    Raise and support the vehicle.

  2. Refer to: EXHAUST SYSTEM - VEHICLES WITH: DIESEL PARTICULATE FILTER (DPF)

    Refer to: EXHAUST SYSTEM - VEHICLES WITHOUT: DIESEL PARTICULATE FILTER (DPF)

  3. Refer to: ENGINE UNDERSHIELD
  4. NOTE: Engine shown removed for clarity.

  7. CAUTION: Remove the Torx screws evenly and progressively.

    Using a suitable 130mm T30 Torx socket, remove the retaining bolts.

  8. NOTE: Make a note of the orientation of the gasket tang.
