DTC P259B-71: Turbocharger Boost Control Position Sensor "B" Performance - Stuck High - Actuator stuck: Action

- Diagnosis of this DTC may require using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment check datalogger signals
- 0x03Fl Turbo Shut Off Valve Opening Position - Measured
- Refer to the appropriate system wiring diagram and check the turbine intake shut-off valve position sensor circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance
- Inspect connectors for signs of water ingress, and pins for damage and/or corrosion
- Check and install a new turbine intake shut-off valve position sensor as required
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment carry out 'Air path set-up routine' routine's (0x4030/0x4051_01/0x4050_01/DID0xF405)
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment carry out 'Powertrain control module low pressure EGR adaption clear' routine (0x0406_0C)
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, clear the DTCs and retest
