WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2018 Land Rover Range Rover, 2017 Land Rover Range Rover, and 2016 Land Rover Range Rover. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
- Vehicle Conditions to enable DTC Logging Strategy
- Battery voltage between 11 and 16 volts
- Monitor runs after ignition on
- Prioritised Checks to Perform
- Refer to the appropriate system wiring diagram and check the CAN_L_3 and CAN_3_H circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance
- Refer to the appropriate system wiring diagram and check the post selective catalyst reduction soot sensor circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance
- Inspect connectors for signs of water ingress, and pins for damage and/or corrosion
- Check post selective catalyst reduction soot sensor for blockage
- Check and install a new post selective catalyst reduction soot sensor as required
- Check DPF for substrate damage
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment check powertrain control module for related DTCs and refer to relevant DTC index
