Circuit Inspection

Inspection Condition (+) Probe (-) Probe Specification
Connector Terminal Connector Terminal
  1. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.
  2. Ignition "ON".
HPCU connector 4, 5, 6, 73 (power) Chassis ground - B+
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect the battery (-) terminal.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.
HPCU connector 1, 2, 3 (ground) Chassis ground - Approx. below 1Ω
  1. Ignition "ON".
  2. Measure the waveform using VMI.
ICU connector 20 (C-CAN high) Chassis ground - Fig.1
ICU connector 19 (C-CAN low) Chassis ground -
HPCU connector 90 (G-CAN high) Chassis ground - Fig.2
HPCU connector 91 (G-CAN low) Chassis ground -

MDPS unit connector 7 (C-CAN high) ICU connector 20 (C-CAN high) Approx. below 1Ω
MDPS unit connector 8 (C-CAN low) ICU connector 19 (C-CAN low) Approx. below 1Ω

G-CAN Inspection
