DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Steering angle position Initialization check
  • Poor connection in torque angle sensor
  • Faulty angle sensor
  • Faulty motor position sensor
  • Mechanical fault
Enable Conditions
  • Ignition "ON"
Threshold Value
  • If steering angle initialization is not completed
  • If the steering angle is more than 700 degrees
Symptom
  • Warning lamp "ON"
  • Restoration control in relation to steering angle inoperative
Fail Safe
  • After initializing the steering angle
