DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Steering angle sensor signal monitoring
  • Poor connection in torque angle sensor
  • Open or short circuit of toque angle sensor wiring harness
  • Faulty steering angle sensor
  • MDPS
  • Calibration error
Enable Conditions
  • Ignition "OFF"
Threshold Value
  • Steering angle sensor output signal error
Symptom
  • Warning lamp "ON"
  • Restoration control in relation to steering angle inoperative
Fail Safe
  • If OK after ignition off/on
