Repair Procedures: Installation

  1. Install in the reverse order of removal.
    NOTE:
    • If clutch actuator & TCM assembly needs replacement, measure the pull rod length of the old clutch actuator & TCM assembly to determine if clutch wear compensation reset is needed.

      (Refer to Clutch Actuator & Assembly - "ADJUSTMENT ")

    • If needed, perform clutch actuator clutch wear compensation reset.

      (Refer to Clutch Actuator & Assembly - "ADJUSTMENT ")

    • Check the assembled state of the dowel pins (A) before installing the clutch actuator & TCM assembly.

  2. Perform the DCT learning procedure using the KDS after replacing the clutch actuator & TCM assembly.
    NOTE:
    • Before performing the DCT learning procedure using KDS, perform the learning process after leaving for 5 minutes in the idle state. Because there may be a problem with operation of wear compensation device when entering the DCT learning function with battery low voltage condition.
    • When performing the DCT learning function, Perform the DCT learning function twice for ensure accuracy and reliability of the clutch touch point.
