Power Circuit Inspection

  1. ATM solenoid connector: Disconnected
  2. TCM connector: Disconnected
  3. Ignition: ON
Input speed sensor 2 signal terminal Chassis ground
Signal circuit (Short): Resistance ∞ (infinite)Ω
  1. ATM solenoid connector: Disconnected
  2. TCM connector: Disconnected
  3. Ignition: OFF
Input speed sensor 2 power terminal Input speed sensor 1 signal terminal
Signal circuit (Short): Resistance ∞ (infinite)Ω
  1. ATM solenoid connector: Disconnected
  2. TCM connector: Disconnected
  3. Ignition: OFF

  1. Is the measured value within specification?

    YES 

    • Fault might be intermittent and caused either by poor contact in connectors or wiring harness, or it has been repaired and control module memory is not cleared yet. Thoroughly check terminal of battery, all connectors (and connections) for looseness, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, and/or damage.
    • Go to next procedure.
