Component Inspection

■ Perform High Pressure Fuel Pump Actuation Test 

  1. Connect KDS/GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
  2. Ignition "ON" & ENG "OFF"
  3. Perform "ACTUATION TEST " for High Pressure Fuel Pump.

■ Inspect High Pressure Fuel Pump 

  1. Ignition "OFF"
  2. Disconnect High Pressure Fuel Pump connector.
  3. Measure resistance between power and control terminal of the High Pressure Fuel Pump. (Component Side)

    Specification:  Approx. 0.6Ω at 30°C (86 °F)

■ Check Fuel Pressure Regulator 

Fuel Pressure Regulator performance check by measuring voltage and current.

  1. Back probe and measure voltage by using and connecting channel A (+) voltage probe to High side and channel A (-) voltage prove to Low side.
  2. Measure operation current by using Low Current Sensor Module.

■ Confirm Part Inspection 

  1. Does the High Pressure Fuel Pump operate properly or is the measured value within specification? (Check variation)

    YES 

    NO
