Component Inspection

■ Perform RCV Actuation Test 

  1. Connect KDS/GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
  2. Ignition "ON"
  3. Perform "ACTUATION TEST " for RCV.

■ Inspect RCV 

  1. Ignition "OFF"
  2. Disconnect RCV connector.
  3. Measure resistance between power and control terminal of the RCV. (Component Side)

    Specification:  Approx. 29.7 ± 1.4 Ω (20°C (68°F)

■ Confirm Part Inspection 

  1. Does the RCV operate properly? (Check variation)

    YES 

    NO 

    • Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.
    • If problem still occurs, replace HO2S (S1) and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
