Signal Circuit Inspection

  1. Ignition "OFF"
  2. Disconnect CAN communication modules. (ECM)
  3. Measure resistance between Pin No. 3 (CAN-High) terminal of DLC harness connector and chassis ground.
  4. Measure resistance between Pin No. 11 (CAN-Low) terminal of DLC harness connector and chassis ground.

    Specification:  ∞ Ω

  5. Measure voltage between Pin No. 3 (CAN-High) terminal of DLC harness connector and chassis ground.
  6. Measure voltage between Pin No. 11 (CAN-Low) terminal of DLC harness connector and chassis ground.

    Specification:  0 V

  7. Is the measured Value within specification?

    YES 

    NO
