Signal Circuit Inspection

■ Open/short Check 

1. Ignition "OFF".
2. Disconnect yaw rate sensor connector.
3. Ignition "ON" & Engine "OFF".
4. Measure voltage between CAN LOW terminal/CAN HIGH terminal of the yaw rate sensor harness connector and chassis ground.

   Specification:  CAN Low to ground: approx. 2.4V

   CAN High to ground: approx. 2.6V

5. Is the measured value within specifications?

   YES 

   • Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure.

   NO 

   • Repair open/short in CAN signal circuit in case of abnormal voltage measured and then, go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
