Component Inspection
■ longitudinal G sensor Calibration
- IG ON, ENG OFF.
- Stand the vehicle on a flat ground without any inclination.
- Set the steering wheel at the center position.
- Keep the vehicle under normal tire pressure condition and normal loading condition.
- Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
- Perform Longitudinal G Sensor Calibration in "Vehicle S/W Management
" menu of the GDS. (

- Is the same DTC shown?
YES
- Substitute with a known-good Yaw rate sensor and check for proper operation. If problem is corrected, replace Yaw rate sensor and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
* In a case of replacing the Yaw rate sensor, operate "longitudinal G sensor Calibration" by GDS. (DBC/HAC only, refer to C1285 )
NO
- Fault is intermittent caused by poor connection in Yaw rate sensor harness or faulty Yaw rate sensor. Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
