Repair Procedures: Replacement: Removal
NOTE:
- Put on gloves to protect your hands.
- Use seat covers to avoid damaging any surfaces.
- Remove the following items.
- Front pillar trim
(Refer to "INTERIOR TRIM ")
- ECM mirror
(Refer to "MIRROR ")
- Auto defogging sensor
(Refer to the "AUTO DEFOGGING SENSOR ")
- Rain sensor
(Refer to "RAIN SENSOR ")
- LDWS unit
(Refer to the "LDWS - REMOVAL ")
- Windshield wiper arm
(Refer to "COWL TOP COVER ")
- Cowl top cover
(Refer to "COWL TOP COVER ")
- Windshield glass deicer connector
(Refer to "WINDSHIELD WIPER ")
- Front pillar trim
- Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the windshield side molding (A).
- Cut out the windshield sealant using the sealant cutting tool (A) (09861-31100).

NOTE:- Do not scrape down to the painted surface of the body; damaged paint will interfere with proper bonding.
- Remove the rubber dam and fasteners from the body.
- Mask off surrounding surfaces before painting.
- Remove the windshield (B) carefully using the glass holder (A).
