Repair Procedures: Removal
CAUTION:
- Put on gloves to protect your hands.
- Be careful not to damage the painted surface.
- Remove the following items.
- Roof molding
(Refer to "PANORAMA ROOF ")
- Rear seat
(Refer to "REAR SEAT ")
- Rear pillar trim
(Refer to "INTERIOR TRIM ")
- Package tray trim
(Refer to "INTERIOR TRIM ")
- High mounted stop lamp assembly
(Refer to "HIGH MOUNTED STOP LAMP ")
- Rear window glass heater connector
(Refer to "REAR WINDOW DEFOGGER ")
- Roof molding
- Spread the WD-40 on the side of rear window glass.
- Using masking tape create some alignment marks to aid in reinstallation.
- Cut out the adhesive using the cutter (A).NOTE:
- Please use the cutter which blade length is between 8-12 inches.
- Enough on the upper (A) and lower (B) side (C) of rear window glass. and then cut out the adhesive using the cutter tool (09861-31100) (D).
- Remove the rear window glass (A).NOTE:
- When removing and installing the rear window glass, an assistant is necessary.
