LIN communication circuit inspection

Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
IG "ON" & ENG "ON".
Measure the signal waveform between LIN terminal of headlamp and chassis ground with VMI.
Specification: Refer to " SIGNAL WAVEFORM & DATA "
Is "Signal Waveform" display near the specified value?
YES
- Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure.
NO
- Check for open/short in harness.
- Repair as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
