Component Inspection

■ Actuation Test 

  1. Connect GDS to data link connector (DLC).
  2. Engine "ON".
  3. Perform "HLL (Head Lamp Leveling) Min (Low) position" and "HLL (Head Lamp Leveling) Max (High) position" in the "Actuation Test"  with GDS.
  4. Monitor "HLL (Head Lamp Leveling) Position" in the "Current Data" with GDS.

  5. Is the head light operated properly with left and right?

    YES 

    • Fault is intermittent and caused either by poor contact in connectors or wiring harness, or it has been repaired and AFLS ECU memory is not cleared yet. Thoroughly check all connectors (and connections) for looseness, bending, corrosion, contamination or damage.
    • Repair or Replace as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

    NO 

    • Substitute with a known - good head lamp and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace head lamp and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
