Roof Trim Replacement

CAUTION:
  • Put on gloves to protect your hands.
  • Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces to protect from marring the surface.
  • Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
  1. Remove the following items:
    1. Front seat

      Refer to FRONT SEAT .

    2. Rear seat

      Refer to REAR SEAT .

    3. Front pillar trim

      Refer to Front Pillar Trim Replacement .

    4. Front door scuff trim & Rear door scuff trim

      Refer to Door Scuff Trim Replacement .

    5. Canter pillar lower trim

      Refer to Center Pillar Trim Replacement .

    6. Canter pillar upper trim

      Refer to Center Pillar Trim Replacement .

    7. Rear pillar trim

      Refer to Rear Pillar Trim Replacement .

    8. Package Tray Trim

      Refer to Package Tray Trim Replacement .

    9. Sunvisor
    10. Vanity lamp
    11. Room lamp
    12. Assist handle
    13. Overhead console
    14. Windshield Glass

      Refer To Windshield Glass .

  2. Remove the ECM mirror cover (A).
  3. Disconnect the ECM mirror connector (B).

  4. Remove the rain sensor cover (A).
  5. Disconnect the rain sensor connector (B).

  6. Disconnect the roof trim main connectors (A).

  7. Disconnect the antenna connector (A).

  8. Disconnect the connector (A).

  9. Using a clip remover, detach the roof trim assembly mounting clips.
  10. Pull back the roof trim assembly (A) through the place where the windshield glass was removed.
    CAUTION: * Take care not to damage the roof trim when removing.

  12. Installation is the reverse of removal.
NOTE:
  • Replace any damaged clips.
  • Make sure the connector is plugged in properly.
