Front Disc Brake: Installation
- Mount a new or repaired rotor on hub and fasten with two mounting screws.
- Mount the supporting plate with two hex-head bolts.
Tightening torque: 33~49 lb.ft (45~67 N.m, 4.6~6.8 kg.m)
- Connect the brake hose to the caliper using a flare nut wrench.
Tightening torque: 9~13 lb.ft (13~18 N.m, 1.3~1.8 kg.m)
- Position brake pads in caliper cavity and install caliper onto supporting plate.
- Lubricate and install two bolts and bushings, and tighten bolts to specification.
Tightening torque: 19~21 lb.ft (26~28 N.m, 2.6~3.0 kg.m)
- Install caps.
- Bleed system. See AIR BLEEDING (CBS) .
- Inspect system for any leaks.
