Trailer Tow Module (TTM)

Vehicles equipped with an optional trailer tow package include a trailer tow wire harness connected to the body wire harness. The trailer tow harness includes a molded seven-way trailer tow connector and an integral cover that are attached to the trailer hitch receiver platform.

Fused B+ for the seven-way trailer tow connector is provided by the Power Distribution Center (PDC). When the BCM detects the trailer tow receptacle is connected, the TTM will then control the activation of the trailer lighting functions. The BCM also outputs the connection status and lighting requests on the CAN bus.

The TTM controls the following trailer lighting outputs:

• Stop Lamps
• Turn Signal Lamps
• Park Lamps
• Reverse Lamps
• Hazard Lamps
