Left Catalytic Converter: Notes

REMOVAL 

  1. Remove the front belly pan. Refer to FRONT BELLY PAN .
  2. Saturate the bolts and with Mopar® Rust Inhibitor. Allow 5 minutes for penetration.
  3. Remove the impact bracket inner bolts, outer bolts, and the impact bracket.

  4. Remove the right catalytic convertor to exhaust manifold bolts and the right catalytic converter.

  5. Loosen the right exhaust muffler clamp nut.

    2 - Exhaust Isolator Bolt
    3 - Right Exhaust Muffler Clamp Nut
    4 - Exhaust Isolator Bolt
  6. Remove the exhaust isolator bolts and lower the resonator.
  7. Disconnect the oxygen sensor wire harness connectors.
  8. Remove the left catalytic convertor to exhaust manifold bolts and the left catalytic convertor.

  9. If necessary, remove the oxygen sensors.

INSTALLATION 

Follow the removal procedure in reverse for general reassembly of the components on the vehicle. The steps listed below are calling out specific procedures that should be followed during installation.
