EGR Cooler: Removal

- Drain the cooling system. Refer to: 2.0L ENGINE - DRAINING .
- Remove the left front wheel splash shield. Refer to SHIELD, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Remove the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) tube. Refer to: TUBE, EXHAUST GAS RECIRCULATION (EGR), REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Remove the catalytic converter. Refer to: 2.0L ENGINE - CONVERTER, CATALYTIC, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Remove the oil drain tube from the turbocharger. Refer to 2.0L ENGINE - LINES, TUBES AND HOSES, TURBOCHARGER, OIL AND COOLANT, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

1 - EGR Cooler Coolant Hose and Clamp 2 - EGR Cooler Bolts 3 - EGR Cooler - Remove the EGR cooler coolant outlet hose from the EGR cooler.
- Remove the bolts and the low pressure EGR cooler.
- Remove the O-ring and the gasket of the low pressure EGR cooler.
