Sensor, Oil Pressure And Temperature: Installation

  1. Install the engine oil pressure and temperature sensor (1) and tighten it to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  2. Connect the wire harness connector (2) to the engine oil pressure and temperature sensor.
  3. Position the generator, install the bolts and tighten to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  4. Install the Accessory drive belt. Refer to BELT, SERPENTINE, INSTALLATION .
  5. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector to the negative battery cable.
  6. Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
