Seal, Crankshaft Oil, Rear: Removal

  1. Remove the flexplate. Refer to FLEXPLATE, REMOVAL .

  2. Remove the rear engine crankshaft oil seal (1) using the (special tool #2044600090, Remover, Crankshaft Seal).
    NOTE:

    Take care not to damage the seal retainer or crankshaft during seal removal.

  3. Thread the remover (1) into the oil seal (2) and tighten the remover bolt (3) to extract the oil seal from the seal retainer.
