Diagnostic Test

- READ AND RECORD DTCS AND ENVIRONMENTAL DATA - ERASE DTCS AND CHECK FOR THE DTC TO RETURN
- With the scan tool, read DTCs in all Electronic Control Units (ECUs) and record on the repair order.
- For future reference, run and save a vehicle Scan Report and all related recorded data.
- With the scan tool, erase all DTCs.
- Turn the ignition off for a minimum of 75.0 seconds.
- Turn the ignition on.
- Using the When Monitored and Set Conditions above and recorded data, operate the vehicle in the conditions that set the DTC.
- With the scan tool, read DTCs.
Did the DTC return?
Yes
- Go To 2
No
- Perform the INTERMITTENT CONDITION diagnostic procedure. Refer to INTERMITTENT DTC .
- CHECK FOR OTHER DTCS
- Refer to recorded DTCs.
Along with P241D, are or more of the following DTCs active or pending?: P05EE-00, P05F1-00, P05F2-00, P05F3-00, P1220-00, P203A-00, P203F-00, P2047-00, P208A-00, P208B-00, P20E8-00, P20E9-00, P20FA-00, P2200-00, P220A-00, P220B-00, P229E-00, P242D-00, P2BA9-00, U029D-00, and/or U029E-00.
Yes
- Perform the Diagnostics for those DTC(s) at this time.
- Refer to recorded DTCs.
