This diagnostic runs continuously when the following conditions are met:
- With the engine running.
- Ambient air temperature is equal to or greater than a calibrated value
- Engine is operating in working Fuel Mass Observer (FMO) range.
- Initial adaptation of O2 sensor is present.
- Lambda sensor adaptation is complete.
- Fuel quantity is greater than a calibrated threshold.
- Battery voltage is equal to or greater than a calibrated value.
- Barometric pressure is equal to or greater than a calibrated value.
- Air system model is active
