Removal And Installation

REMOVAL 

1. Remove the engine cover. Refer to COVER, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION  .

2. Use the (Special Tool No. 10288, Pliers, Hose Clamp) to loosen the band clamp (1a) and remove the clean air hose (1b) from the air cleaner body (1c).
3. Loosen the band clamp (1a) and remove the intake air tube (1b) from the air cleaner body (1c).

4. Disengage the upstream O2 sensor wire harness (1b) from the retaining clip (1a).

5. Remove the two bolts (1a) from the air cleaner body (1b).

INSTALLATION 

1. Install the air cleaner body and securely tighten the bolts.
2. Engage the coolant hose and O2 sensor wire harness retaining clip.
3. Connect the clean air hose and tighten the band clamp with the (Special Tool No. 10288, Pliers, Hose Clamp).
4. Connect the intake air tube and tighten the band clamp.
5. Install the engine cover. Refer to COVER, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION  .
