Turbocharger Oil Supply Pipe
REMOVAL
- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
- Remove the generator. Refer to GENERATOR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Remove the engine cover. Refer to COVER, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Remove the clean air hose. Refer to HOSE, CLEAN AIR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Remove the turbocharger heat shield. Refer to
TURBOCHARGER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

- Remove the bolt (1) and remove the turbocharger oil supply pipe from the crankcase.
- Remove the union bolt (1a) securing the turbocharger oil supply pipe (1b) to the turbocharger.
- Remove the turbocharger oil supply pipe (1a) complete with O-ring (1c).
INSTALLATION
- Install a NEW O-ring (1) onto the turbocharger oil supply pipe.
- Route the turbocharger oil supply pipe between the turbocharger and crankcase.
- Install the turbocharger oil supply pipe into the engine block and securely tighten the bolt.
- Install the turbocharger oil supply pipe to the turbocharger and tighten the union bolt to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
.NOTE:
Any movement of more than 3 degrees, at the pipe ends, will damage the end seals and may need to be replaced.
- Install the turbocharger heat shield. Refer to TURBOCHARGER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Install the clean air hose. Refer to HOSE, CLEAN AIR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Install the generator. Refer to GENERATOR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Connect the negative battery cable.
