Air Outlet Pipe From Turbocharger To Throttle Body
REMOVAL
- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
- Remove the engine cover. Refer to COVER, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Remove the turbocharger air inlet hose. Refer to
HOSE, CLEAN AIR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
.
- Disconnect the electrical connections (1) from the air pressure sensor and the air temperature sensor.
- Remove the nuts (1) and disconnect the turbocharger air outlet pipe from the throttle body.
- Remove the bolt (1) securing the turbocharger air outlet pipe to the cylinder head cover.
- Remove the bolts (1a) and the turbocharger air outlet pipe (1b).
- If required, remove the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor from the turbocharger air outlet pipe. Refer to SENSOR, AIR TEMPERATURE, INTAKE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- If required, remove the turbo boost pressure sensor from the turbocharger air outlet pipe. Refer to SENSOR, TURBO BOOST PRESSURE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
INSTALLATION
- If removed, install the turbo boost pressure sensor to the turbocharger air outlet pipe. Refer to SENSOR, TURBO BOOST PRESSURE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- If removed, install the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor to the turbocharger air outlet pipe. Refer to SENSOR, AIR TEMPERATURE, INTAKE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Install the turbocharger air outlet pipe and securely tighten the bolts and nuts.
- Connect and lock the electrical connections to the air pressure sensor and air temperature sensors.
- Install the turbocharger air inlet hose. Refer to HOSE, CLEAN AIR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Install the engine cover. Refer to COVER, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Connect the negative battery cable.
