Clean Air Hose

REMOVAL 

1. Remove the engine cover. Refer to COVER, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION  .

2. Disconnect the quick couplings (1, 2) from the clean air hose.

3. Loosen the band clamp (1) and disconnect the pressure sensor hose from the clean air hose.
4. Disconnect the fuel vapor purge hose quick coupling (2) from the clean air hose.
5. Disengage the fuel vapor purge hose from the retainers (3) on the clean air hose.

6. Use the (Special Tool No. 10288, Pliers, Hose Clamp) to loosen the band clamps (2a) and remove the clean air hose (2b).

INSTALLATION 

1. Install the clean air hose and tighten the band clamps with the (Special Tool No. 10288, Pliers, Hose Clamp).
2. Connect the fuel vapor purge hose quick couplings and engage the hose retainers to the clean air hose.
3. Install the engine cover. Refer to COVER, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION  .
