Removal And Installation

REMOVAL 

1. Remove the engine cover. Refer to COVER, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION  .

2. Use the (Special Tool No. 10288, Pliers, Hose Clamp) to loosen the band clamp (1a) and remove the clean air hose (1b) from the air cleaner body.

3. Loosen the captured screws (1a), disengage the rear retainers and remove the air filter cover (1b).

4. Remove the air filter element (1).

INSTALLATION 

1. Install the air filter element.
2. Install the air filter cover, engage the rear retaining clips and securely tighten the screws.
3. Install the clean air hose and tighten the band clamp with the (Special Tool No. 10288, Pliers, Hose Clamp).
4. Install the engine cover. Refer to COVER, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION  .
