Main Battery Tray

REMOVAL
WARNING:
The battery negative and positive cable polarity are different from the gasoline engine equipped vehicles to the diesel engine equipped vehicles. Please note the location of the positive and negative cables prior to service of the battery or related components.
- Remove the driver side front seat. Refer to SEAT, FRONT, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Remove the battery. Refer to
BATTERY, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
1 - Front Seat Support Brace Nuts 2 - Front Seat Support Brace - Remove the front seat support brace nuts from the front seat support brace and remove the brace from the vehicle.
1 - Battery Tray Bolts 2 - Battery Tray - Remove the battery tray bolts that secure the battery tray to the floor and remove the battery tray.
- Remove the left front wheel splash shield. Refer to SHIELD, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Remove the two bolts that secure the bottom of the battery tray.
- Remove battery tray from the vehicle.
INSTALLATION
- Position the battery tray into the floor.
1 - Battery Tray Bolts 2 - Battery Tray - Install the battery tray bolts that secure the battery tray to the floor and tighten the fasteners to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

1 - Front Seat Support Brace Nuts 2 - Front Seat Support Brace - Install the front seat support brace.
- Install the front seat support brace nuts for the front seat support brace and tighten to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install the battery. Refer to BATTERY, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Install the driver side front seat. Refer to SEAT, FRONT, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
