This diagnostic runs continuously when the following conditions are met:
Condition One:
- Ignition on.
Condition Two:
- Ignition on.
- PARK or NEUTRAL is not being requested.
- A gear shift is not in progress.
Condition Three:
- Ignition on.
Condition Four:
- Ignition on.
- The transmission is not in PARK or NEUTRAL.
- A gear shift is in progress.
- There is an active request for positive engine torque.
Condition Five:
- Ignition on.
- PARK or NEUTRAL is not being requested.
- A gear shift is in progress.
Condition Six:
- Ignition on.
