Default Action

Conditions One - Four 

• Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) is illuminated on the first trip that the diagnostic fails.
• The TCM will not request any positive torque interventions from the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) via Controller Area Network (CAN).

Conditions Five and Six 

• Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) is illuminated on the first trip that the diagnostic fails.
• The Transmission will be placed into Third gear Limp-in mode.
• The TCM will not request any positive torque interventions from the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) via Controller Area Network (CAN).
• The TCM will not request any negative torque interventions from the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) via Controller Area Network (CAN).
• Service Transmission message will be displayed.
• Transmission adaptations will be disabled.
• Special shifting modes (Manual Mode, Sport Mode, Tow Mode) will be disabled.
