Pressurized Coolant Bottle

REMOVAL 

  1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to DRAINING  .

    1 - Pressurized Coolant Bottle Nuts
    2 - Pressurized Coolant Bottle
    3 - Upper Coolant Hose
    4 - Lower Coolant Hose
  2. Disconnect the upper coolant hose from the pressurized coolant bottle.
  3. Remove the pressurized coolant bottle nuts and lift up the pressurized coolant bottle to gain access to the lower coolant hose.
  4. Disconnect the lower coolant hose from the pressurized coolant bottle.
  5. Remove the pressurized coolant bottle.

INSTALLATION 

  1. Connect the lower coolant hose to the pressurized coolant bottle.
  2. Install the pressurized coolant bottle and tighten the pressurized coolant bottle nuts to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  3. Connect the upper coolant hose to the pressurized coolant bottle.
  4. Fill the cooling system. Refer to COOLING SYSTEM FILLING  .
  5. Start and warm the engine. Check for coolant leaks. Refer to COOLING SYSTEM LEAKS  .
