Removal And Installation

REMOVAL
- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Remove the exhaust muffler. Refer to MUFFLER, EXHAUST, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Saturate the exhaust pipe nuts with Mopar® Rust Inhibitor. Allow 5 minutes for penetration.
- Remove the nuts (1) and the exhaust pipe (2).
INSTALLATION
- Install the exhaust pipe (2) and tighten the nuts (1) to the proper specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install exhaust muffler. Refer to MUFFLER, EXHAUST, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
- Check the exhaust system for leaks. Refer to DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING .
