Removal And Installation: Installation

  1. Install the transmission oil cooler (1b) and secure the retainers (1a).

  2. Remove the seal and plug from the transmission cooler and the transmission cooler lines.
  3. Using NEW  gasket seals, install the transmission cooler lines (1b) to the transmission cooler (1c) and secure the retaining clips (1a).

  4. Install the radiator air deflector (1c) and secure the side retainers (1b). Securely tighten the bolts (1a).

  5. Install the front bumper reinforcement (1c). Tighten the bolts (1a) and the nuts (1b) to the proper specification. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .

  6. Install the air cleaner inlet tube (1b) and securely tighten the nut (1a).
  7. Install the front bumper fascia. Refer to FASCIA, FRONT, INSTALLATION .
  8. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector to the negative battery cable.
  9. Check transmission fluid level and correct as necessary. Refer to FLUID AND FILTER, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
